History
In a period of just 85 years, Huijbregts Groep has grown from a local family business to become an international market leader. But it hasn’t lost its family feel.

Powder mixes for butchers
Wim Huijbregts started out in business in Eindhoven in 1936, specialising in producing mixes for regional butchers. His mixes were used in sausage and minced-meat products, amongst other things. The company experienced unprecedented growth in the 1970s and opened a new production facility in Helmond.

Powder for the food industry
In December 1980, Frans took over the business from his father. With traditional butchers failing and the meat industry gaining the upper hand, Frans could see that the company needed to steer a new course. Huijbregts stopped product development and started to focus on mixing powder ingredients for the food industry. A number of high-quality technological innovations were introduced under Frans’ management. Since 2018, the third generation, Willem, has been co-director of Huijbregts Groep.

Production facility in Spain
In April 2021, Huijbregts Groep opened its second location. With the new location, our services will also be available to the Spanish (and Southern European) food industry. The Spanish food industry will have the opportunity to achieve greater efficiency, quality and food safety. In the beginning, we will start with about 25 employees, in the future we hope to employ 100 people.
